“ I got a treat at this restaurant and I really love it. I will never had enter the restaurant if not for the generous person who treat me. We were first served with their Eight Treasures tea and it really warmth us. The tea is colourful with different types of flower inside. We ordered a set meal and it comes with around 6 small dishes. With less serving per dish, it makes the dishes more delicated and you can try more different dishes. The place is empty when we arrived in between lunch and dinner time but can get very crowded during dinner time. Observing what other customers order, I already decided what I want to have the next time I am here. ”
“ My company and I turned up on a weekday afternoon to try their lunchtime hi-tea buffet, which was going for about $13.80 nett per person then. The variety of dim sum at the table wasn't significantly wide, but I didn't expect that would be the case at restaurants in this price range. With moderated expectations, I picked out a few good appetisers: the pork-and-cabbage dumplings (gyoza) were done crispily and firmly, and didn't disintegrate when I dipped them in vinegar. The man tou were actually pretty good, small and crispy. The siew mai was average, but the Chives and Vegetables Pancakes were amazing. They were light, fluffy, and a popular option at the table (I felt like I needed curry at that time, but checked myself). You can - and should - order bowls of Zhajiang noodles and Lu Mian at the buffet. I love the way they cut the noodles into this frilled pattern, and you can taste the texture of the noodles as you slurp them down. The handmade noodles are of good quality, and probably more worth it than some of the dim sum they offer at the table. ”
